Bottled water delivery service combines Costco value and convenience
by SHANA MCNALLY
Whether it’s for your home or your business, if you are thirsty for convenience—coupled with Costco value—bottled water delivery through Costco Services is a great option. The Connection recently spoke to the folks involved with this Costco service to get the backstory.
Delivery benefits
What are the benefits of a water delivery service? “Convenience and accessibility, quality and safety, and proper hydration,” says Mark Campbell, senior vice president of North American sales for Tampa-based Primo Water Corporation, one of the suppliers of the service.
“For over 100 years, we have provided our customers with quality bottled water,” he continues. “This water has been purified by reverse osmosis and/or distillation, filtered and ozonated to ensure quality, and bottled in an FDA [Food and Drug Administration]-regulated, food-grade production facility,” Campbell notes.
“Plus, Costco members receive exclusive pricing, and Executive members can save even more,” says Costco Services manager Lisa Castaneda.
Tapping in
Setting up the service is simple and straightforward (see “Get into the flow”). You’ll receive delivery notifications, and there’s even a bottled water delivery app.
“Members appreciate the convenience of having water delivered on a schedule that works for them, and that they can adjust depending on needs and the time of year,” says Castaneda.
Eighty percent of members also sign up for a cooler rental. “Primo Water coolers are stylish and state-of-the-art,” says Castaneda. Plus, a built-in LED feature automatically lets you know when your water bottle is running low. Hot and cold dispensers are also available.

“We share the same values with Costco,” says Campbell, “putting the customer at the center of everything we do, providing excellent service and offering premium products and a strong value proposition.”
Savings, value, quality and customer commitment. How refreshing!
