How do I get started? How do I get savings on medications for my pets?

It's easy to save on your pet meds with the Costco Member Prescription Program including Carprofen, Vetsulin, Gabapentin, Cerenia and many more. Bring your pet's prescription or have it transferred to a Costco Pharmacy. Then present your Costco membership card to the Costco pharmacist to receive your discounted price.

Will my Costco Membership card save me money on my pet prescriptions?

Yes, all prescription medications have a discount. Saving range from 10% to 50% or more depending on the drug. Costco pharmacy can tell you the specific savings. They can also recommend a similar medication for the one you have been prescribed that may have a higher discount.

How much will I save on pet prescriptions?

The Costco Member Prescription Program offers Costco members opportunities to obtain lower prices on many popular pet medicaitons at Costco Warehouse pharmacies. Savings are variable and specific prices and quantites are found by searching for the specific medication.

How do I make sure the pharmacy gives me the Costco member discount price for my pet prescriptions?

Once you have provided your Costco Membership card, the pharmacist will confirm your participation in the Program. You will automatically be provided with exclusive member pricing for all of your pet meds the same day. Ask your pharmacist about the specific amount of any savings when you purchase your prescription.

What about pet prescriptions I currently have at other pharmacies? Can I get savings on those when the prescription is refilled?

To receive your Costco member pricing, bring your pets prescription to your local Costco pharmacist.

Why did my pet prescription cost more/less when I got filled than it did the last time I filled it?

Prescription costs under Costco Member Prescription Program are based on negotiations with suppliers and manufacturers regarding each specific pet medicine dispensed. We work dilligently to maintain pricing consistency but financial contracts change from time to time, which means that the exact amount you pay for your pet medication or a refill may differ.

Can I purchase prescriptions at non-Costco pharmacies?

You must fill pet medications at a Costco Warehouse pharmacy to receive the special member pricing available through the Costco Member Prescription Program.

Can my pet prescription be delivered?

Unfortunately, home delivery is NOT available for pet medications at this time.
