Product Details

Credelio Quattro (lotilaner, moxidectin, praziquantel, and pyrantel chewable tablets) is the broadest1 parasite protection of its kind covering 6 types of parasites in one chewable tablet. It protects against ticks, fleas, heartworm disease and three intestinal worms that can be passed to humans — tapeworms, roundworms and hookworms (Uncinaria stenocephala). Accepted by nearly 9 out of 10 dogs, Credelio Quattro comes in a tasty, easy-to-give chewable that's also meat allergy friendly** and gentle enough for puppies as small as 3.3 pounds and as young as 8 weeks.

Credelio Quattro:
Administer the prescribed dosage once-monthly with food or within 30 minutes of a meal.

Credelio Dog:
Dosage and Administration: Credelio is given orally once a month, at the minimum dosgage of 9 mg/lb (20 mg/kg).

Dosage Schedule: For dogs 25.1 to 50.0 lbs, administer one 450 mg tablet. Credelio must be adminstered with food. Treatment with Credelio can begin at any time of the year and can continue year-round without interruption.

Credelio CAT:
All owners have different comfort levels with their cat when it comes to administering medication. There are three basic ways to administer Credelio CAT:

  1. 1. Offer by hand or place in area where your cat feels comfortable eating. Many cats will eat the chewable by free choice. Tempting with treats can also help.
  2. 2. Offer with food during a meal. If your cat is a grazer, try placing it around a few pieces of kibble or covered in wet food and checking to make sure it has been consumed out of the bowl.
  3. 3. Place the chewable on the back of your cat’s tongue. The chewables were designed to be very small and easy to administer in these situations.It is important to always administer Credelio CAT with a meal or 30 minutes after feeding.

Indications
Credelio Quattro is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease and the treatment and control of roundworm, hookworm (Uncinaria stenocephala) and tapeworm infections. Credelio Quattro kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and the treatment and control of tick infestations for 1 month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 3.3 pounds or greater.

Important Safety Information
Lotilaner, an ingredient in Credelio Quattro, belongs to the isoxazoline class and has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions like tremors, ataxia, and seizures even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. Dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections before Credelio Quattro administration as it is not effective against adult D. immitis. The safe use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. The most frequently reported adverse reactions in clinical trials were vomiting and diarrhea. CREDELIO FOR DOGS

Indications
Credelio kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and treatment and control of tick infestations (lone star tick, American dog tick, black-legged tick, and brown dog tick) for one month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks and older and 4.4 pounds or greater.

Important Safety Information
Lotilaner is a member of the isoxazoline class of drugs. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, incoordination, and seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving this class of drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. The safe use of Credelio in breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. The most frequently reported adverse reactions are weight loss, elevated blood urea nitrogen, increased urination, and diarrhea. CREDELIO FOR CATS

Indications
Credelio CAT kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations for one month in cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 2 pounds or greater. Credelio CAT is also indicated for treatment and control of black-legged tick infestations for one month in cats and kittens 6 months of age and older and weighing 2 pounds or greater.

Important Safety Information
Lotilaner is a member of the isoxazoline class of drugs. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, incoordination, and seizures. Neurologic adverse reactions have been reported in cats receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in cats without a history of neurologic disorders. Use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders. The safety of Credelio CAT has not been established in breeding, pregnant and lactating cats. The effectiveness of Credelio CAT against black-legged ticks in kittens less than 6 months of age has not been evaluated. Frequently Asked Questions

Credelio has a rapid onset of action and begins to kill fleas on dogs in just 4 hours. In cats, Credelio CAT begins killing fleas in just 6 hours. In a well‑controlled laboratory study, Credelio demonstrated 100% effectiveness against adult fleas within 12 hours (24 hours for cats) after administration or infestation and lasted for up to 35 days.

Credelio starts to kill ticks (Ixodes ricinus) within 4 hours of administration, with 98.7% of ticks killed within 8 hours.2

Not at all. Credelio and Credelio CAT kill adult fleas quickly and effectively when used monthly according to label directions.

If there are fleas in your pet’s environment, it can take up to 6 weeks for flea larvae to emerge and grow into adults. Credelio and Credelio CAT kill adult fleas before they can lay eggs. If you see fleas on your pet, they are most likely new adult fleas that will die very quickly.

All animals in the household should be treated with an approved flea product to minimize the likelihood of flea re-infestation. It may also be necessary to apply an approved flea treatment product to your carpet and furniture to remove the presence of fleas in your dog’s or cat’s environment.

Maintain consistent monthly administration of Credelio or Credelio CAT to provide continual flea protection in your pet.

For dogs, the small and tasty beef-flavored monthly chewable tablet was accepted and tolerated by the 70 different dog breeds that were tested, including Chihuahuas and Yorkshire Terriers.**

In a field trial, the acceptability of Credelio was tested at 10 different locations across the U.S., and 94% of dogs accepted Credelio from the hand, in the bowl or with food.3 The remaining 6% accepted Credelio when placed in the mouth. There were no reports of unsuccessful dosing.

In cats, the chewable tablet was designed to be small and easy to give, with a flavor and smell that cats find appealing.

In real-world testing, cat owners successfully administered 99.5% of tablets to their cats. 46.9% of cats ate Credelio CAT on their own when offered by hand, placed in an empty food bowl or with food. 52.6% of cats successfully took the pill when placed in the mouth.
