Gift-Giving Guide 2021
‘Tis the season for gift-giving. Whether you’re dashing into Costco to pick up last-minute gifts or prancing through the aisles to replenish holiday staples, this list will help you get started – or finished this holiday season.
Brighten your coworkers’ day
They are there for you all year long, so the holidays are a great time to show your thanks.
Scope out their favorite color and give them reusable water bottles or nail polish. What are they most interested in? Pick up a theme calendar, or a coffee-table book. If you’re thinking more practical, purchase waterproof hybrid gloves or handcrafted artisan soaps.
Remember: It’s the little things that count. Pair your gift with a handwritten card giving thanks for their hard work this past year.
Appreciate your teachers
It’s true apples are a good gift for teachers. You can buy the new Cosmic Crisp variety while supplies last, or find a seasonal favorite. Or, consider a blanket with some cocoa or apple cider.
Gift baskets are always a hit. Choose from fruit and nut, chocolate, popcorn, deli and cheese collections – and even wine.
Celebrate your friends
Help your friends feel festive this year.
It’s always fun to receive small gifts like makeup, fuzzy socks, new skin care products and lip balm. Costco often has bundles of these items, so you can split the packages between friends.
Looking to spend a little more? Costco carries fun fragrances and lotions. Gift cards will make any gift recipient happy.
Focus on family
The holidays are all about family.
Count on Costco and Costco.com for crowd-pleasers, including jewelry, electronics and more.
Popular items include watches – traditional and smartwatches – including Apple, Samsung, and Fitbit, and earbuds.
Give the gift of entertainment. Choices include puzzles, games, and digital gift cards for Nintendo, Xbox, and Sony.
Pamper your pets
Don’t forget your pets. Costco and Costco.com carry a selection of pet beds, food, treats and toys. Show your love to the one who is there for you unconditionally all year long.
Stock up on sweet stuff
Treats are an essential part of any holiday season. Plus, it’s great to have a last-minute gift backup plan.
When you need a sweet treat or an extra gift, toss some Popcornopolis Zebra Popcorn, Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares Peppermint Bark Collection or Sanders Chocolate Covered Sea Salt Caramels in your cart.
Treat yourself
One for you, one for me. If this is your philosophy of gift shopping, you’re not alone.
There’s no better time to get cozy – and to pamper yourself – than the holidays. From lotion to loungewear, slippers to sleepwear to microfiber sheets – pick up a little something just for you.
And, why not indulge in a new handbag while you’re at it? At least add it to your wish list and accidentally leave it on the kitchen counter. You never know what could happen.
Donate to your favorite charity
Put a bow on it this holiday season with a donation to your favorite charity. Need some suggestions? Put Feeding America, United Way, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or the Red Cross at the top of your list.
Visit Costco this season. We’re your one-stop-shop for all the things on your holiday gift list. If you’re still stumped, you can always give them a Costco Shop Card.
Costco Shop Cards are not redeemable for cash, except as required by law.
