What Isn’t Covered by Pet Insurance?

Most pet insurance companies will not cover pre-existing conditions, or conditions that show signs/symptoms prior to the policy effective date or during any applicable waiting periods. However, pre-existing conditions do not exclude pets from pet insurance, as new illnesses and injuries can still be covered.
