Costco’s Custom Blinds, Shades & Shutters program can help you select quality window covering solutions that meet your needs and have them professionally installed, on budget.

Graber, the supplier for the program, has been offering top-quality window treatments since 1939, and has been serving Costco members since 2011. “We carefully selected Graber to work with when we were setting out to offer window coverings to our members,” says Bill Prescott, who oversees all of Costco’s Home & Installation Services. “Over the years, working with Graber has been fantastic. It’s a relationship that really benefits our members in regard to quality and value.”

As the program’s name suggests, members can select from a variety of window coverings. If you favor blinds, Graber offers a wide range of materials, including wood and faux wood. If you’re interested in energy-saving shades, you’ll find a wide variety of styles. Graber also has a line of hand-crafted artisan drapery and well-made shutters that will fit in with traditional and contemporary designs.

Getting started

When it’s time to update your home with new window coverings, not only will Costco’s program help you select the perfect solution, but you will receive an additional value by earning a Costco Shop Card for 10% of the total pretax purchase; Executive members earn an additional 2% Reward, up to $1,000, on the purchase.

The process begins when you provide your contact information to Graber, either by phone, on Costco.com, or by speaking with a representative in a Costco warehouse. You will then be connected with one of Graber’s premium dealers from its extensive nationwide network, who can help you select window coverings that fit your decor and lifestyle. “We work with dealers who will approach your project as though they were doing it in their own homes,” says Christine Wolpert, Graber’s director of sales.

Your local Graber dealer will pair you with one of its design consultants, who will help you with everything from determining the best window treatments for your home, to walking you through the custom design process, to the installation of your new window coverings. “Graber experts are carefully selected for Costco’s program based on their extensive knowledge of the entire Graber line of window treatments,” Wolpert says. “Graber offers in-depth training sessions for our design consultants to deliver the best experience for Costco members.”
